JUDITH DAY received her master's degree in counseling
psychology from the
California Institute of Integral Studies in 1986. She is a licensed
Marriage
and Family Therapist, a nationally certified clinical mental
health
counselor, and a Lomi Somatics Associate. She serves as a board
member
of the Lomi School Foundation.
Judith has worked as a psychotherapist in private practice
since 1986.
Her therapy draws upon the awareness work of Carl Rogers and
Fritz Perls,
Jungian and other transpersonal and imaginal therapies, and various
meditative
and somatic disciplines which she has studied for twenty-five
years.
In addition to practicing therapy, Judith teaches somatic education
and
mindfulness meditation, offering classes, groups and retreats
both privately
and through Kaiser-Permanente.
